Job requirements
- A tertiary qualification at Bachelors level (minimum), including Psychology or similar
- Previous experience in supporting people with an intellectual disability or autism spectrum disorder
- Experience providing support using a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach
- Full New Zealand driver's licence
Job responsibilities
- Development of Behaviour Support Plans and Safety Plans, skill-building, and self-regulation strategies
- Supporting people with high and complex needs and behaviours of concern
- Providing resource information, training, and advice
- Reviewing and supporting the implementation of plans and interventions
Qualifications
