Overview

Are you looking to be part of a small, close-knit finance team in a stable organisation? We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our well-established and successful business operating in the building and construction sector in both New Zealand and Australia.

About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for various tasks such as processing invoices, dealing with supplier queries, handling AUS currency, assisting with month-end accounts, and more. This role offers the chance to work closely with a supportive finance team and contribute to the smooth operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing invoices daily and reconciling them to supplier statements
• Dealing with AUS currency transactions
• Attending to supplier account queries
• Assisting with month-end accounts
• Creating and processing payments for local and overseas suppliers
• Setting up new suppliers in the system and ensuring accuracy
• Providing support to other finance staff, including Accounts Receivable

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable, proficiency in Excel, the ability to process a high volume of invoices monthly, and a strong desire to work in a stable organisation as part of a small finance team.

Location and Benefits
