The Role

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your mission will be to ensure that data solutions are comprehensive, aligned with business processes, and meet reporting and analytical requirements. This role is critical to the success of the organization's data-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for both technical and analytical teams.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear project objectives and deliverables.
• Design and enhance dimensional data models, incorporating key elements like star schema and snowflake schema, ensuring efficiency and performance.
• Understand and review complex SQL code, supporting the migration to a new data platform.
• Provide additional capacity for BI development and report creation during peak times or when extra expertise is needed.
• Assist with the documentation of data processes and objects.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Data-focused BA or BI Analyst or similar.
• Strong SQL skills with proficiency in complex querying and data modeling.
• Expertise in building and enhancing dimensional models, with a solid understanding of data architecture and data warehouse pipelines.
• Proven experience in designing and building reports and visualizations in Power BI.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge technical and business needs.
• Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements, creating functional specifications, and conducting impact analysis.
