Caretaker Assistant/Groundsperson Full-time Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated, reliable and hardworking person to be our Assistant Caretaker/Grounds person. You will assist with the maintenance of our very special school property and grounds. If you like to work among children and a great team, can put your hand to a wide range of practical tasks and take pride in your work, then this could be the role you are looking for.

Duties would include but not be limited to:
Grounds and garden maintenance, Pool Maintenance, Building Safety Checks, School Heating, Cleaning and Tidying, Handyman work, Painting, Small Building Jobs, Assisting with organising setup for school and PTA events.

The successful applicant will have:

Effective organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised at times. 
Proficient at both written and spoken English.
Ability to work under instruction and also work unsupervised.
A high level of fitness.
A current Drivers License.
A background in gardening, building and/or trades.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm to ensuring the property is kept to the highest standard are essential.
A commitment to health and safety of students, staff and school property are also essential.

This is a part time, permanent position Tuesday - Thursday 7.30 am -4.30 pm Full Year.
