Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and administer patient care with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
• Lead in triage, treatment initiation, and patient education following organisational protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records to uphold legal and ethical standards.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and support professional growth.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance care quality and facilitate improvement initiatives.
• Participate in audits, staff recruitment, and performance assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current NZNC APC and Registered Nurse qualification with at least 5 years of post-registration experience.
• Preferably experienced in urgent care and general practice.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with ACC and PHC funding models.
• Strong organisational abilities and experience with MedTech Evolution is desirable.
• Commitment to health equity with an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
