Job requirements:

- Full, clean, valid driver's licence - Full registration with New Zealand's Social Work Registration Board - Social worker qualification recognized by the SWRB - Previous people management and/or mentoring experience - Knowledge of Oranga Tamariki Act 1989 and cross-cultural practices

Job responsibilities:

- Facilitate a positive working relationship between Police and Oranga Tamariki - Work with Police on Joint investigation plans - Liaise with site intake and assessment supervisors - Consult on Multi-Allegation Investigation - Establish effective communication between Police and Oranga Tamariki

Qualifications:

- Experienced Social Worker or Supervisor Social Worker

- Ability to build and lead an effective team - Proactive approach focusing on the needs of tamariki - Excellent time management skills - Understanding of cross-cultural practices
