Civil Foreman Full-time Job

Key Points

- Full-time Foreman/Supervisor position in civil construction industry - Minimum 5 years of civil infrastructure experience required - Auckland-based role - Must have experience working with Project Managers for tier 1 or 2 main contractors - Strong work ethic and dedication to project success required

Job Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in civil infrastructure - Valid class 1 Full Driver’s license - Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident and legally allowed to work in New Zealand - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Provide references to verify experience

Job Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead a crew on-site for civil infrastructure projects - Ensure works are carried out on time and within budget - Maintain accurate records, conduct toolbox meetings, and safety audits - Manage allocation of supplies, resources, materials, and equipment - Maintain relationships with subcontractors, clients, project managers, and suppliers - Ensure team is well trained and competent to work on projects

Qualifications

- Tertiary education qualification in civil construction is an advantage but not essential

Skills

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans - Experience in civil, drainage, concrete, and/or structural work - Strong leadership and team player skills - Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
