Overview

An established CA firm in Central Auckland is currently in ramp-up mode and seeking a senior member to join their BAS team. The role involves working closely with Principals and team members on various clients from different industries, focusing on annual accounts, tax returns, and high-quality business advice.

Responsibilities

• Manage work flow and ensure jobs are completed within budget
• Act as a key contact point in managing client relationships
• Review work of junior team members
• Focus on technical compliance and value-added/advisory work

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have past experience in a New Zealand accounting firm at a reviewer/supervisory level. Strong working knowledge of Xero packages and add-ons, NZ IRD tax requirements, stakeholder management, and direct client communication. Previous experience with outsourced providers is beneficial.
