Job Opportunity: Warehouse Storage Solutions Designer

Role Description: The Warehouse Storage Solutions Designer will work closely with the Design Manager to create customer-centric design drawings for various storage needs including pallet racking, cantilever arm, shelving, and shuttle racking. The role requires experience in using design software programs such as AutoCAD, Rivet, or Solidworks to meet functional requirements and budget constraints. Projects can range from $500 to $5,000,000, making it a challenging and specialized role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translating customer requirements into functional designs
• Ensuring designs comply with building limitations and requirements
• Collaborating with the sales team to provide solution-focused designs

Qualifications and Skills Required

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:

• Design or engineering background/qualification
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in design software programs (AutoCAD, Rivet, Solidworks)
• Strong technical and computer skills
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Detail-oriented and good with numbers
• Proactive, flexible, and positive attitude

Salary: The salary band for this role is $25-$30/hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.
