Dog Daycare Manager Full-time Job

Key points:

- Start date: ASAP or in January 2025 - Location: Glenfield, North Shore, Auckland - Managing reception, admin, and canine care - Flexible 20-30 hours per week - Job sharing with existing Manager - Must be a true dog lover - Previous experience preferred but full training provided - Fluent in English and NZ residency/work visa required

Job requirements:

- Must be a true dog lover - Physically fit and able to stand for long periods - Comfortable managing large and high energy dogs - Experience with dog behavior/management/training preferred - Fluent in English and NZ residency/work visa required

Job responsibilities:

- Meet and greet pets and their owners - Bookings, diary management, and admin tasks - Interact with dogs and relieve staff breaks - Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of play areas - Play and interact with daycare dogs

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role or animal care qualification preferred - Fluent in English - NZ residency or valid NZ work visa required

Skills:

- Administration and computer skills - Organized and self-managed - Confidence in dealing with dogs and their owners
