A beautiful, small family-owned early childhood centre in Ponsonby, Auckland, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team. What We Offer

As a Kaiako at our centre, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a supportive team of educators with excellent ratios, allowing you to focus on teaching and building meaningful relationships with the children. The centre practices continuity of care, enabling you to deepen your connections with your cohort of children and support their growth as respectful and caring individuals.

In this role, you will initially start in support positions in older classrooms before transitioning to a role as an infants and toddlers teacher. Together with a newly qualified teacher, you will serve as role models for your group of infants and toddlers, creating a nurturing and engaging environment for their development. Experience working with children of all age groups is highly valued.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Bachelor's or Diploma/Graduate Diploma (Level 7) in Early Childhood Education or Primary qualification, along with current NZ teacher's registration and valid NZ work rights. While familiarity with RIE/Piklar philosophy is preferred, a willingness to learn and embrace these principles is also welcomed.
