Job responsibilities

- Event Coordination & Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing events
- Help manage event logistics and communication with attendees
- Support the creation and distribution of event marketing materials
- Provide assistance with social media promotion and online presence
- Membership Support
- Assist in maintaining and updating membership databases
- Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Coordinate member communications and assist in membership renewals

Qualifications

- Previous experience in event planning, marketing, or membership support is highly desirable
- Knowledge of or experience in Māori-led organizations is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems or membership management platforms is desirable

Skills

- Passion for Māori culture, values, and community development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competence with social media platforms and online marketing tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
