Job requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in events, including event management agency experience - Passion for sustainability and understanding of sustainability in event design and delivery - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and efficient work practices - Ability to self-manage, deliver projects to deadlines, and work collaboratively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Values alignment with NZGBC's mission - Experience with managing suppliers and ensuring successful event execution
Job responsibilities:
- Design and develop an annual events and sponsorship program aligning with business strategy - Plan and deliver all NZGBC events, handle suppliers, manage venues, registration, and communications - Promote and attract event attendees through effective relationships and marketing - Implement improvements to systems and processes, conduct post-event reporting - Prepare periodic reports for sponsors and update website content as required
