Excavator Operator Full-time Job

Key points:

- Competitive pay up to $35ph - Permanent full-time position in Auckland - Opportunity to work on critical civil infrastructure projects

Job requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of civil infrastructure experience - Understanding of Health & Safety regulations - Ability to read and interpret construction plans - Availability to work 40+ hours per week

Job responsibilities:

- Assisting with project preparation - Digging trenches, earthworks, backfilling, and pipelaying - Maintenance and repair work on pipelines and structures - Following safety procedures and wearing correct PPE

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in civil infrastructure - Valid Class 1 Full driver’s license with necessary endorsements - Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or legally allowed to work - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Skills:

- Team player with effective communication skills - Strong work ethic and reliability - Dedication to project success - Ability to operate 1.5T-20T diggers
