AA Education is offering a flexible role where you can teach online from the comfort of your home or in your local area. The position allows for customizable work hours ranging from 1 to 10 (or more) hours per week at your convenience. About AA Education
AA Education is committed to providing after-school tuition for over 500 students spanning from Year 3 to Year 13. Classes are conducted in small groups of 6-15 students, primarily online with a few physical classes. As we expand our team, we are seeking experienced English and Mathematics teachers familiar with the New Zealand, Australia, or Commonwealth Primary, Intermediate, or Secondary school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop teaching content utilizing provided resources.
- Deliver high-quality instruction to a group of students.
- Provide individualized feedback to students and parents if necessary.
- Monitor student progress and conduct assessments.
Skills and Experience Required
- Preference for registered NZ teachers.
- Prior teaching experience is essential.
- Experience with ESOL learners is advantageous.
- Familiarity with online teaching methods.
- Understanding of the NZ curriculum.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to motivate students.
