Position Details:

• Location: Tāmaki Makaurau/ Te Tai Tokerau (Auckland and Northland)
• Employment Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours a week)
• Salary: From $96,671 per annum

Job Description:

As a Field Officer, you will be responsible for connecting campaign and organizing strategies to support members' industrial and professional goals. Your tasks will include planning for regular contact and visibility for assigned worksites/member groups, developing leaders within the membership, and utilizing knowledge of the education sector or union organizing to support members.

Requirements:

• Commitment to giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi or willingness to develop it
• Experience in te reo and tikanga Māori is welcomed
