Position Overview

The Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations in New Zealand, reporting directly to the CFO and General Manager. This role offers the flexibility of being based in either Auckland CBD or Christchurch, with potential for hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial operations in New Zealand
• Coordinate with the Australian Finance team for financial reporting
• Conduct financial analysis to drive decision-making
• Provide strategic financial insights for business growth
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Identify financial risks and opportunities
• Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals

Required Skills and Qualifications

• CA qualified with a strong finance and accounting background
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Proven leadership skills and strategic mindset
• Experience in managing high-volume transactions
• Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
