Hair Dresser or Barber Full-time Job

Title: Join Our Team - Barber Position Available at Groom Room Barbershop in Auckland

Overview:

Groom Room Barbershop in Auckland is currently seeking talented barbers to join our team. This is a full-time and permanent position with a minimum guarantee of 32-40 hours per week. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about barbering and are available to work on weekends and public holidays. The hourly pay rate offered is between $30-$34, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant barbering qualification or have at least 1 year of experience in a commercial haircutting environment
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have excellent time management skills
• Ability to provide excellent customer service by welcoming clients, consulting on desired hairstyles, and delivering quality haircuts
• Proficient in cutting, trimming hair, and using razors and clippers
• Experience in shaving, beard, and mustache grooming with cut-throat razors
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness in work areas and equipment
• Skilled in booking appointments, handling payments, and managing customer inquiries
