Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate would hold a New Zealand Certificate in Hairdressing Professional Stylist (Level 4) or equivalent. While not essential, having a NZ Certificate in Adult Teaching Level 4 and NZ Certificate in Adult Numeracy and Literacy would be a bonus. Additionally, relevant time and experience in the hair industry are required. Full induction and training will be provided.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and develop students in the hair industry.
• Deliver hands-on teaching according to the timetable, including practical demonstrations.
• Handle administrative tasks related to teaching, marking, student monitoring, assessment, and completions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Promote equality, fairness, and dignity in all interactions, honoring Te Tiriti.

Location & Compensation
