About the Role:

As the demand for services continually increases within primary healthcare, the Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) plays a valuable role in helping patients manage their mental and physical health and well-being. HIPs also connect individuals to community support when needed. The position offers an exciting opportunity for early intervention in a primary care setting.

What We're Looking For:

  • New Zealand registered health practitioner with full registration
  • Previous experience in providing talking therapies such as ACT, FACT, or CBT
  • Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT/computer skills for entering clinical notes
  • Previous experience or interest in facilitating group sessions
