About the Role:
As the demand for services continually increases within primary healthcare, the Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP) plays a valuable role in helping patients manage their mental and physical health and well-being. HIPs also connect individuals to community support when needed. The position offers an exciting opportunity for early intervention in a primary care setting.
What We're Looking For:
- New Zealand registered health practitioner with full registration
- Previous experience in providing talking therapies such as ACT, FACT, or CBT
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT/computer skills for entering clinical notes
- Previous experience or interest in facilitating group sessions
