About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic and friendly team at Southern Cross Gillies Hospital in Epsom. This is a full-time position with rostered shifts, offering a high level of patient/whanau interaction. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to the Inpatient team nurses. Key requirements for this role include:

• Comfortable maneuvering large trollies for transporting supplies and equipment
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital environment
• Completion of a level 2 NCEA/6th form certificate
• Healthcare certificate or equivalent
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business needs
• Relevant residency status to work in New Zealand
