Helplines Counsellor Full-time Job

Key points:

- Leading not-for-profit organization - Must live in Auckland - Flexible work available - 32 hours per week

Job requirements:

- A Social Services related degree (Counselling, Psychology, Social work) - Experience providing counselling support - Able to work flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends - Passion for supporting people in distress - Can work 32 hours a week - Live in Auckland

Job responsibilities:

- Lifeline Counsellors work allocated shifts on a fortnightly basis to answer calls across helplines and text message line - Shifts are from 7am to 3.30pm and 3.30pm to 12.00am - Must work one weekend a fortnight

Qualifications:

- Social Services related degree - Experience in providing counselling support

- Ability to work flexible hours - Passion for empowering and supporting people in distress
