Overview:

Are you passionate about supporting individuals and families to achieve housing and social stability? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Kāinga Ora in Mt Roskill, Auckland as a Housing Support Manager. In this full-time permanent role, you will work directly with customers and their whānau to ensure their housing and wellbeing needs are met, while fostering enduring relationships and providing tailored support services.

Role Responsibilities:

• Build enriching relationships with customers and their whānau
• Provide holistic support to tenants for access to jobs, amenities, and services
• Work on rent arrears and debt collection/recovery
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure tailored support services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Caring and passionate about supporting individuals with housing needs
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse backgrounds
• Comfortable with addressing emotional situations and conversations
• Valid NZ driver's license for local travel (pool vehicle provided)
