Installer & Support Technician Full-time Job

Key points:

- Service & Installation Technician position in Auckland - Responsible for setting up Eftpos & POS systems and providing technical support - Competitive salary package and company car provided

Job requirements:

- Knowledge of POS hardware & software, thermal printers, bar code scanners, and eftpos terminals - Proficiency in Windows OS, networking, and diagnosing hardware and software issues - Familiarity with MS SQL Management Studio - Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations and support - Interest in learning about NZ payment processing, POS Software, and E-commerce

Job responsibilities:

- Installing and servicing POS hardware & software - Providing on-site and phone-based technical support - Travelling to customer sites for installations and technical assistance - Learning about NZ payment processing and related technologies

Qualifications:

- Relevant technical knowledge and experience in the field - Understanding of Windows OS, networking, and hardware/software troubleshooting - Familiarity with MS SQL Management Studio is a plus

Skills:

- Technical proficiency in POS systems, printers, scanners, and eftpos terminals - Strong problem-solving and customer service skills - Ability to travel to customer locations for on-site support
