Intermediate BAS Accountant

Earn city salaries minus the commute and parking! Live and work local in West Auckland. Join an inclusive and family-oriented team environment as an Intermediate BAS Accountant. You will work closely alongside the Director and Senior Accountants on a variety of clients from different industries.

Key Duties:

• Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties
• Owning the entire preparation tasks for a wide range of clients
• Acting as a client liaison point on any outstanding documentation
• Supporting the Senior Accountants and Directors in managing the relationship and contact with clients

Ideal Candidate:

• Past experience in a local Accounting firm at a preparer level
• Wide range of client portfolio experience: SMEs, Family trusts, Sole traders
• Comfortable in preparing a full set of accounts via Xero
• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate directly with clients
