Y — 6 is a renowned Interior Architecture and Design studio based in Auckland, specializing in Hotel and Hospitality design across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We are currently seeking a talented Intermediate level Interior Designer with a passion for creating exceptional spaces.

Who We're Looking For

If you have 4+ years of experience in Interior Design at a high level and a keen interest in hotel and hospitality projects, we want to hear from you. You will be working closely with our Senior Design team and Design Directors on a variety of projects, offering you exposure to a highly creative and collaborative studio environment.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Intermediate Interior Designer at Y — 6, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, both locally and internationally. Your responsibilities will include working with large consultant teams, leading projects, and ensuring compliance with the NZ Building code. Proficiency in Revit & BIM360, Sketchup/Vray, and a solid understanding of FF+E, OS+E, and hotel specification documentation are essential for this role.

Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Design or Architecture
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Interior Design experience
• Proficiency in Revit & BIM360, Sketchup/Vray
• Understanding of the NZ Building code and Hotel and Hospitality Design industry
• International travel experience and curiosity in hotel design
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand with a full & current driver's license
• Residing in New Zealand at the time of application
