About the Role

The Home-based learning delivery mode at TWoA is flexible and convenient, allowing students to enroll at any time throughout the year. The institution offers self-directed learning resources delivered to students' homes, with kaitiaki making home visits to support their studies. The home-based learning programs include He Papa Tikanga, He Papa Reo, Mana Ora, Tikanga Whakaaro, and Papa Whairawa.

The organization is currently looking for an experienced educational practitioner to oversee the delivery and administration of five home-based learning programs within Te Ihu Takiwā, which includes Tāmaki Makaurau and Te Tai Tokerau. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of program delivery, including enrolment targets, program graduation rates, administration compliance, monthly cohort management, quality assurance, and professional development of employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Kaitiaki (assessors / coaches) and administrators to achieve delivery objectives.
  • Manage monthly enrolments and cohort allocations.
  • Ensure kaitiaki and administrator workloads are fair and equitable.
  • Enhance program delivery practices and processes.
  • Contribute plans and strategies to achieve enrolment targets.
  • Supervise and monitor home-based learning administration practices, policies, and processes.
  • Identify and manage program delivery trends and risks.
  • Identify and devise training and development plans for Home Based Learning (HBL) employees.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Diploma in Adult Education (level 5)
  • 4+ years of experience in a management role, preferably within the tertiary environment
  • Exceptional experience in establishing and maintaining strong relationships
  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating service delivery to diverse groups
  • Full NZ Driver's License (Class 1)
