Salary: $100,000+ per annum

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Grafton, Auckland CBD

The Opportunity

The main responsibility of this role is to plan, analyze, design, implement, and support activities that deliver effective and efficient operation of Lab Systems for LabPLUS and Auckland Pathology Services. Other responsibilities include maintaining, improving, and ensuring a high level of availability of Laboratory Systems, supporting and aligning laboratory systems and shared services for the Northern Region, and working alongside regional IT resources to achieve regional solutions.

Important Skills

  • Ideally have Lab/Health or Medical industry experience
  • Excellent understanding of managing IT Projects
  • 3+ years Programming experience
  • 2+ years Systems Admin/Support of core systems
  • 2+ years Medical Laboratory or Scientist experience
  • Previous understanding of IT Lab systems support
  • Working knowledge of JAVA or other OOP language
