Logistics Manager - Auckland Full-time Job

Overview:

Value Tyres Ltd (VTL), a New Zealand-owned national organization specializing in the import, wholesale, and distribution of premium Tier One automotive products, is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee warehousing and distribution operations at their Auckland facility.

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end distribution facility operations - Supervise stock management, storage, receiving, and dispatch activities - Lead a team of approximately 18 employees - Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and activities - Manage racking and bin locations - Handle container devanning and customer deliveries - Oversee stock takes and resolve any discrepancies or customer complaints - Uphold company values and ensure Health and Safety compliance - Lead, motivate, and coach the warehouse team - Manage team performance and expectations

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Excellent communication skills - Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word - Organizational and time management skills - Target-driven mindset with the ability to set and achieve performance goals - Attention to detail and accuracy - Full NZ driver's license and Forklift license (F endorsed) - TFO accreditation is advantageous
