Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to become a valuable member of our small and versatile team. The primary responsibility of this role will be maintaining and servicing large plastic pipe extrusion lines and corrugated pipe extruders. The Maintenance Engineer will have access to a well-equipped engineering and machine shop to support their tasks. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek on day shifts, with the possibility of overtime when necessary.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Proven background in production maintenance - Ability to conduct repairs, maintenance, and upgrades on machinery and equipment - Collaborative mindset to work closely with production teams to meet customer requirements - Proficiency in repairing pumps, fans, vacuum pumps, pneumatics, and drive systems - Experience in machining, welding, and breakdown repairs - Strong knowledge of health and safety standards and safe work practices - Adaptability to changes and the ability to work independently - Maintaining the Engineers workshop in an organized, safe, and secure manner - High mechanical aptitude, excellent workmanship, and problem-solving skills
