### About the Role As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the busy food processing site. Reporting to the Plant Manager, your key responsibilities will include: - Minimizing downtime through effective planning and maintenance management - Ensuring all maintenance activities align with food safety and quality standards - Providing leadership to an existing team - Implementing successful change management strategies - Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance function - Managing maintenance budgets and related asset management

### Desired Skills and Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and attributes: - A minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in the food industry - At least 3 years of experience in team leadership or people management - Mechanical/Electrical trade certification or Engineering tertiary qualification - Proficiency in IT and experience with CMMS preventative maintenance software - Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Sound expertise in reporting, planning, budgeting, and job scheduling
