About Us

Te Tumu Waiora is our innovative model of care that places mental health professionals within Primary Care Clinics, integrating them fully into General Practice teams. This approach ensures mental health care is prioritized and easily accessible, offering same-day appointments without any fees.

The Role

In this dynamic role based at three clinics, you will provide brief psychological interventions, deliver group programs, offer consultations and education to the team, and support local population health initiatives. You will work with patient-centered teams dedicated to delivering quality primary health care and social services.

Requirements

We are looking for registered mental health professionals or previously qualified Health Improvement Practitioners (HIPs) under the HPCA Act. Fluency in Te Reo Māori and experience with Tikanga and Manaakitanga are advantageous. Strong communication skills, cultural competency, and a background in talking therapies are essential.
