Overview
The Fono is seeking qualified individuals to join the LagiOla – Healthy Minds team to provide mental health services for Pacific families. This role involves utilizing evidenced-based brief interventions with a focus on Pacific and Talanoa-based approaches.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with individuals and families
- Deliver brief psychological/behavioral interventions
- Work within a multidisciplinary team
- Incorporate Pacific values, beliefs, and practices into service delivery
Requirements
- Relevant qualification and membership (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work)
- Deep understanding of Pacific culture
- Positive attitude and commitment to improving wellbeing
- NZ driver's license and citizenship/residency
