About the Role

Join Mercy Hospital for Women's Neonatal Services team as a Nurse Unit Manager (NUM). In this role, you will lead the daily operations and staff management across the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Special Care Nursery (SCN). Your responsibilities will include strategic planning, financial management, and ensuring high-quality clinical practices and patient care within the unit. Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate patient care will be a key aspect of this role.

About You

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a passion for Neonatal Services and strong people management skills to take on this pivotal role. The ideal candidate will possess registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, a postgraduate qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care, and prior management experience, including change management and clinical innovation. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial processes are essential for this role.
