We are a privately owned local business, seeking passionate mature supervisors who are enthusiastic and caring. KAS are looking for inspirational, forward thinking, mature and organised Programme Supervisors to represent KAS in our OSCAR programmes based at our sites situated around the Franklin area.

                 Hillpark - Pukekohe - Patumahoe - Bombay

These positions are permanent with fixed hours. 

Our operational hours are:

  • Before School Care (BSC) from 6.30am to 8.30am (these are not mandatory and depends on the centre)
  • After School Care (ASC) between the hours of 2.00pm to 6.00pm, for a minimum of 12 hours 
  • Holiday Programme (HP) between the hours of 7.00am to 6.00pm for a minimum of 15 hours

Do you have:

  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to connect with young people
  • The ability to work collaboratively with our team to implement our programmes
  • A First Aid Certificate (an advantage)
  • A basic understanding of behaviour management (an advantage)
  • A knowledge of the OSCAR sector (an advantage)
  • An ability to organise the day, have eyes in the back of your head (and the sides), the ability to be firm but fair
  • Behaviour management experience (or are an experienced adult with lots of life experience and know how to navigate multiple personalities)

Required:

  • A full, clean NZ driver’s licence and the ability to drive a van. 
  • This is a Core Worker role as per the definition under the Vulnerable Children's Act.
  • A great attitude
  • All staff are police Vetted as part of the employment process.
  • Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
