If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Te Kahu Tōī IWS Psychologist in Auckland Central.

About the Role

In this fixed-term, full-time role for 12 months, you will work collaboratively as part of a team to understand the needs of young people and their families. Your responsibilities will include identifying patterns influencing learning and behavior, providing individualized psychological assessment and intervention, and supporting evidence-informed practice. The salary range for this role is $82,928 - $117,928 per annum plus 3% KiwiSaver.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be a New Zealand Registered Psychologist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have the ability to work effectively with children, young people, families, teachers, and other professionals in diverse settings. An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangatawhenuatanga principles is essential, as well as adherence to Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

Te Kahu Tōī Intensive Wraparound Service offers evidence-based interventions to support children and young people with challenging behavior and complex learning needs. The team collaborates with various stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans focused on the child or youth's success at home, school, and in the community.
