Job responsibilities
- Managing and mentoring the QS team
- Leading cost estimation, preparing BoQs, cost plans, and feasibility studies
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Evaluating and analyzing tender submissions, negotiating contracts, and finalizing procurement agreements
- Preparing financial reports, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment
- Managing variations and change orders, assessing their impact on project costs and timelines
Qualifications
- Formal QSing qualification
Skills
- Confident presenting in meetings
- Relating well to people at all levels
- Experience in value engineering
- Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
- Experience with construction software systems ideally Procore
- Enjoy improving systems and processes
