Job requirements

- Good understanding of commercial contract law - Ability to draft subcontract agreements, assess payment claims and variations - Stay updated on industry trends and construction technology

Job responsibilities

- Estimating for all Civil projects - Reviewing contract terms and conditions - Negotiating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers - Risk management and problem-solving - Procurement of subcontractors - Compiling subcontract agreements - Assessing payment claims and variations - Monthly cost reporting and forecasting

Qualifications

- NZ experienced Civil QS - Solid understanding of NZS3910:2013 - Experience in tendering construction projects - Knowledge of New Zealand construction techniques and processes

Skills

- Ability to do basic trigonometry calculations - Strong negotiation skills - Knowledge in tendering projects and pricing variations - Willingness to go the extra mile with a can-do attitude
