Overview:

The University of Auckland, the leading university in New Zealand, is seeking three Research Grants & Contracts Advisers to join their team. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary range of $68,600 - $84,700 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and execute agreements, subcontracts, and variations for standard research grants
  • Manage contestable funding cycles and ensure smooth transitioning from pre-award to post-award contracting
  • Be a subject matter expert for rules and templates related to assigned portfolio of funders and schemes
  • Collaborate with Research Contracts and Grants Administrators for post-award updates

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • Minimum four years of experience in advisory, contracts coordination, or project coordination roles
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and working with different systems and databases
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
