Job Opportunity: Maintenance Worker in Auckland

Position Details

We are currently seeking Maintenance Workers in Auckland for various maintenance tasks all over the city. This role offers opportunities for upskilling and gaining qualifications. The hourly rate is $23 - $25 based on experience, with an additional 8% holiday pay.

About the Company

Join the dynamic team at our client's joint venture, comprising two of New Zealand's largest civil contractors. Our client plays a vital role in the maintenance of Auckland's motorways. We value our employees and provide ample opportunities for development.

Role Responsibilities

• General maintenance duties such as guard rail and pothole repairs
• Litter collection
• Mowing using John Deere mowers or tractors
• Soft landscaping, including pruning and hedging
• Spraying for weed control
• Weed eating

Note: This role involves travel to various locations throughout Auckland with standard working hours from 6:30am to 3:00pm. Nightshift options are available from 6:00pm to 5:00am.

Skills and Experience

While experience is not required, a positive mindset and a can-do attitude are essential. The following experience and requirements are desirable:

• Full Class 1 license, Class 2 full license desirable
• Experience in litter collection, spraying, traffic control, and/or weed eating
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors
