Position Details

As a Caretaker at Stanley Bay School, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day property tasks and the upkeep of the school grounds. This includes ensuring the safety and good order of the grounds and buildings, supervising cleaners, maintaining the swimming pool, undertaking general maintenance tasks, and providing support in maintaining the school facilities.

This position is for 23 hours per week, spread across Monday to Friday, with flexibility for additional hours as negotiated. The role also includes 4 weeks of annual leave and falls under the School Caretakers', Cleaners', and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who can interact effectively with staff, students, contractors, and the school community. The ideal candidate should be computer literate, hold a full driver's license, and have the right to work in New Zealand. Additionally, all applicants must meet the Vulnerable Children's Act requirements and undergo a Police Vet Check.
