About the Job

We are looking for a dedicated School Caretaker to join our team in Papatoetoe, Auckland. This full-time position requires you to work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4pm, all-year-round. As part of the School Caretakers’, Cleaners’ and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement, your responsibilities will include managing property tasks, maintaining school grounds and facilities, assisting with school events, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the school.

Key Requirements

• Must have the right to work in New Zealand
• Compliance with the Children’s Act
• Excellent communication skills
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
• Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Proficient in minor maintenance work
• Hold a full clean driver's license
• Physical strength for various tasks
