Join Our Team as a Trade Qualified Fabricator Welder

Job Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Trade Qualified Fabricator Welders to join our team in Auckland CBD. As a Fabricator Welder, you will play a crucial role in constructing, assembling, and repairing various metal structures following blueprints and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare materials for fabrication
• Weld, bolt, rivet, and solder components together
• Inspect and test completed workpieces
• Collaborate with other tradespeople
• Utilize hand and power tools
• Work with various materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and Q&T plate
• Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
• Maintain accurate records of work

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Trade Qualified Boilermaker
• Relevant Trade Certification
• Current Driver's Licence
• Physical strength and stamina
• Certification or training in welding and metal fabrication
• Availability for site work on short notice
• Good attention to detail and craftsmanship
