A boutique Chartered Accountancy practice in Newmarket is seeking an experienced and qualified accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support to a diverse client portfolio, assisting with training junior staff, and potentially transitioning into a managerial role as the practice expands.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Financial statement preparation and compliance duties
- Providing tax planning advice and structuring recommendations
- Assisting with due diligence work, budgets, and cash flows
- Offering systems advice and training junior staff
Required Qualifications & Experience
- CA or CPA qualification
- Minimum 5 years of NZ public practice experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Deadline-oriented with technical competency in accounting and taxation
- Proficient in Xero and Excel, knowledge of other accounting software is a plus
