Role Overview:

Join our client, an established audit and accounting practice in Central Auckland, as an Audit Manager/Senior Manager. This role involves leading audit engagements from start to finish, overseeing staff, and actively contributing to business development and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire audit process, from resource planning to completion
  • Lead a diverse client portfolio with a focus on non-for-profit sector
  • Participate in business development and tendering processes
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations and appraisals

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years of audit and assurance experience in an established practice
  • Experience in supervising and managing staff on audit engagements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • CA/CPA qualified, with plans to obtain a CPP
  • Demonstrated people leadership abilities
