Overview

This job opportunity is perfect for an experienced Audit Manager or Senior Manager seeking a new challenge in an established audit and accounting practice located in Central Auckland. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including managing audit engagements, business development, and staff leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete audit process, from resource planning to engagement completion
• Oversee and guide staff on audit engagements
• Handle various audit engagements, with a focus on the non-for-profit sector
• Participate in business development activities and tendering processes
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and appraisals

Key Requirements

• 5-7+ years of audit and assurance experience
• Experience in managing staff on audit engagements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• CA/CPA qualified, with plans to obtain a CPP in the near future
• Demonstrated people leadership skills
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership
