Senior BAS Manager Full-time Job

Job requirements

• Experience of 4-6+ years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
• Solid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry tools
• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
• Experience in working with large scale and commercial businesses
• Formally qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent)

Job responsibilities

• Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff members
• Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability
• Managing the relationship and contact with clients

Qualifications

• Formally qualified (CA, CPA or equivalent)

Skills

• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach, and motivate team members
