Job requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer
• CCNA certification required; CCNP, CCIE, or progress towards these highly valued
• Experience in a complex network environment
• Expertise in BGP, VOIP environments, and disaster recovery procedures
• Multicast experience
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and network design principles
• ITIL Foundation knowledge

Job responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of complex network changes, evaluating risks and securing approvals
• Drive improvements in change management procedures and lead strategic assessments for network enhancements
• Engage in rigorous incident management processes, from analysis to resolution and documentation
• Coordinate implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures
• Provide hands-on technical support during high-severity operational issues
• Maintain high network availability with no avoidable outages

Qualifications:

• Must hold at least a NZ Resident visa
