Duties and Responsibilities
As a Service Electrician, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing job calls daily and responding to fault or emergency requests
- Identifying electrical problem areas on-site and providing accurate quoting of jobs
- Performing home automation, equipment installation, and troubleshooting
- Inspecting electrical systems and conducting repairs as needed
- Adhering to regulatory health, safety, and performance standards
Qualifications Needed
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Valid EWRB license
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
- Current and unrestricted Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 year experience as a qualified Service Electrician
- Relevant work exposures in Lighting Install, Design & Repair, CCTV, Security and Fire Alarm Systems, and more
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
