The Opportunity

Ford New Zealand is looking for a motivated Service Specialist with at least 3-4 years of experience in the mechanical trade sector and a mechanical trade qualification. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of the dealer network, demonstrate initiative, independence, and a results-driven approach. Previous Dealer/field experience would be advantageous.

In this role, key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and launching all CCRG approved Recalls applicable to NZ.
  • Planning and coordinating Essential Special Service Tools for dealers by OKTB for new vehicle programs.
  • Driving the Loan Tool Program.
  • Creating and publishing all service-related Dealer bulletins onto FMC Dealer.
  • Acting as the single point of contact for all NZ Stop Ships in accordance with FoA Import Quality team direction.
  • Coordinating all local repair Exchange Programs with local or Australian suppliers.
  • Administering Servis2 access requests for Dealer and Corporate requests.
  • Attending and supporting New Model Launches as required.
  • Reviewing/approving/redirecting requests for extensions to Rental Vehicles resulting from Roadside Assist Program.
  • Raising & reviewing Warranty Labour Rate requests from NZ Dealers.
  • Providing Servis2 support for Dealers regarding damaged/written off Warranty Alerts.
  • Supporting/driving technical requests for reducing warranty spend through exchange programs.
  • Preparing a monthly EDSR report highlighting concerns raised by Dealers.
